Darik's new glasses and Mother's day tea

After a week and a half of wearing his new glasses that I posted about a few weeks ago Darik was not happy with them at all. They are sports glasses and they were just too uncomfortable for long periods of time. We tried adjusting them and doing a few other things but ultimately it was decided to exchange them for another, more comfortable set. So, without further ado, DTL's new glasses, round 2.




Darik's class at school held it's Mother's Day tea this Friday. Mothers were invited to a small tea with cookies while we were read poems by our children. Darik did a nice job on his poem which was loosely based on the book I'll Love You For Always.

Then we were given a collection of some of their work over the course of the year (three months for him) to take home.
