Where did November go?

It's already the 7th of December and I'm still trying to figure out where November went. There was a week of early releases for the grade schoolers. Parent-teacher conferences were done during that time. No school on the 11th for Veteran's Day. My sister got married the 18th and I flew up for that, being gone the evening of the 17th to the morning of the 22nd. Then two days off for Thanksgiving and the month finished up in a hurry after that.

Anna and Darik participate in a children's choir at church. The choir was asked to participate in an interfaith service the evening before Thanksgiving. They did a good job.


The Saturday after Thanksgiving we got an itch and took a drive. We went to find Lake Tahoe, never having been there before. It is beautiful but it doesn't appear that there are a lot of public beaches where Mt. Rose Hwy approaches the lake. We'll have to explore more next spring/summer. We had lunch up there and found a state park with a 20 minute parking limit.
