He really likes it. As proof: It has been about 100 degrees here this entire week. He was asked to care for a friend's animals Wed, Thurs and Fri. Rachel got her license on Monday. She offered him a ride to the home but he refused and rode his bike instead. Now, to be fair, he only went morning and evening and they live about .5 mile from our home but he still chose the bike.
Sarah got her first real haircut. I got a coupon for Great Clips and decided it was time for a change for the little miss. So here's the beautiful before pictures.
And the great after pictures. (Taken a few days later.)
She really likes the cut and we think it looks a lot healthier. It was hard to part with the length but as Anna and Rachel have shown in years past, it will grow back.
And now, for a totally off topic ending. We had to go to Savers today to look for some clothes the kids need but will outgrow quickly (dress pants for Darik) but Jason was browsing other areas of the store and found this great deal.
He had just told me the other day that his tennis shoes were starting to wear out to the point that they needed to be replaced. These fit, there is no wear on the soles and just a few scuffs on the tops. The best part? The price! New Nikes for what?
That's right, $10 and I had a 20% off coupon, making them just $8! I love a good find.

Wow! It's amazing how a haircut makes a little tike into a big kid. Sarah looks so cute!
