May 3rd was on Friday but we celebrated Jaron's birthday on Saturday. He wanted the whole family to attend Iron Man 3 together as a family so that's what we did. We got to use some more of our Christmas presents from Gramma and Grampa Ski and used our gift cards to catch a matinee showing of the movie. It did not disappoint! Our family is a huge fan of Iron Man and other Marvel comic movies. We can all quote so much of the Avengers it's almost kind of sad. But as it was opening weekend we had to wait in line for one hour to get really good seats all together. We brought games and books to keep us busy as we waited.

Got to say the movie was worth the wait, we had a great time! Then it was back to the house for cupcakes, ice cream and presents after dinner.

A new DS game from us.
Anna's birthday fell on Mother's Day. All she's been wanting is a mother/daughter date to Cheesecake Factory. She's never been there before but she LOVES cheesecake so she figured she couldn't go wrong. I surprised her by taking her to Build-A-Bear Workshop first. She had never been there either and had expressed an interest. She made this adorable bear to match herself.

She named her Aubrey. They share a love of cowboy boots and footballs.
We had a great dinner together at the restaurant Saturday night. The next evening after church we celebrated as a family and had cheesecake for Anna and a chocolate cake for Mother's Day.

She's opening a gift for the entire family, a new movie. Jason wanted her to have something to open so that's what we did.

Happy Birthday to my May babies!
