Thursday Rachel had another game and I remembered to take some pictures. She is in dark blue with yellow trim. Her number is 26. They won this game, bringing the season record to 3 wins, 2 losses. They should win their next, and last, game this coming Thursday. It was a short but fun season.
Friday night we enjoyed the label of "coolest parents". At 8pm eight 13 and 14 year old girls showed up at our house. They did make-up and hair, tried on clothes, ate junk food and watched Twilight until 11pm. Then they all loaded into the van and headed to Wal-Mart with Jason manning the wheel. They hung out there until New Moon was released at midnight. Then back to the house to watch their newly acquired treasure. Off to bed for dad. The girls fell asleep around 3am.
Sarah, Jaron and Anna were awake (as were Jason and I) at 6am. We tried to keep kids fairly quiet until 8am. All the girls got up and cleaned the basement up and packed and came upstairs for pancakes at 9. They all had a wonderful time and thanked us profusely. I took Nathan, Anna, Jaron, Darik, and Caleb down to the church about 9:30 to set up for a quarterly primary activity. That was held from 10 to 11:30 and we were home by noon.
Midnight at Wal-Mart. (This is the same group that all went together last fall to see this movie.)

Primary Activity
Learning about one of the many miracles Jesus did.
Learning about how spoons are carved. Joseph was a carpenter and so was Jesus. The children got to learn about how Jesus would have been taught his trade.
The last rotation, playing games Jesus MAY have played. (meaning - no playstations) This was a three-legged race.
All in all a pretty busy and productive week.
