Softball season has begun!

Rachel's first week of softball practice was the same week that Honor band finished up for her. She missed the first three practices for softball because she had rehearsal for Honor band the 27th and 28th of February with her performance on the 29th. Then it was back to softball practice for the 1st and 2nd. Her first games were tournament play on the 9th and 10th.

Her team didn't do well on Friday and improved on Saturday, winning one of three games. They played again the 15th and won that game. They are really getting better and coming together as a team. They have a great coach and she is enjoying her season, thus far.




On the way home from her tournament on Friday the 9th we passed the 100000 mile mark on "Jake's" odometer, the little silver bug. We documented it for all you who couldn't be there.

We were on the highway when this happened so I couldn't pull over and take a picture, Rae did it while I was driving. =)
