Curbside after my friend, Deb, dropped us off.
At the airport waiting for our flight. This was the first time flying for some of the kids (Sarah, Caleb, Darik) so we had a great time exploring the airport and taking in all the sights and sounds. Then it was time for a little dinner before the flight.
Prepping for the trip.
Uncle Ian saying "HI!" (Or is it bye? Only crazy people invite 12 people to come visit for a week!)
Riding the train.

The morning of the 16th we slept in a little and then headed for the train station to go scout out the city of Boston. We went to the Old Granary Burying Ground and saw the resting place of such notables as Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Robert Paine, and Paul Revere.

Then it was off to the Boston Commons, the Public Gardens and the Frog Pond.

And then, after walking around for a few hours, we headed home to relax and eat dinner. It had been a very long day and the kids were exhausted and needed to chill out. Sunday was going to be a big day too, but in a different way, so it was time to get some rest.
