So Rachel got home Friday afternoon and we left town Monday morning. We got out of town about 9, we were aiming for 8. We brought Rachel's friend Kacey with us on vacation. Kacey goes to school with Rach and was on her summer softball team. She has never seen the ocean and has never been to a zoo so we invited her to hang out with us since we would be doing both those things. Monday was spent traveling. We stopped in the Tri-Cities for a quick lunch. Then we stopped in The Dalles for a play break. We also stopped at Multnomah Falls since Kacey has never been there. We got to Gramma's house about 6.

Tuesday was spent rather uneventfully. Jason, Nathan and my grandfather went golfing and I took the rest of the kids school clothes shopping, gotta love no sales tax. In the afternoon my sister Cherisa, and her family, arrived from Boston and desperately needed naps. The weather was overcast so we took the kids to see Up! and they really enjoyed that.

Looks like you had some fun on your way down to Portland. We've hiked up the falls too, along time ago. Very pretty.
Will and I got to see "Up" the other night, and we really enjoyed it, too. Bizarre movie, but quite fun.
