Anna's birthday party

Anna's birthday is the 12th of May but it worked better to celebrate it the 8th instead of the 15th. And celebrate we did. She had several friends join us for a couple of games of bowling. Cupcakes and presents were done at the bowling alley and then we were off to the mall. We headed straight for Claire's where Anna passed through a Wrzesinski tradition of getting your ears pierced when you turn 10 (or really close to it.)


Hugging the bear is supposed to help comfort. Her friends also tried the art of distraction.




There was more crying about the anticipation of piercing than the piercing itself caused but it was all worth it in the end. Look at her beautifully bejeweled ears. We did have cake and ice cream as a family on her birthday.
