Carving pumpkins

For Family Home Evening on the 24th we carved pumpkins. We had three pumpkins to carve. Rachel, Anna and Sarah did one. Jaron, Nathan and Caleb worked on the second. Jason, Darik, and I took the third one.

The girls' pumpkin had an anime princess theme going. Mine, Jason and Darik's had an unfortunate encounter with a saw. Caleb, Nathan and Jaron split up the face by who got the eyes (Jaron), nose (Caleb), and mouth (Nathan).

We had a good time and the kids were happy with their art. The pumpkins are already looking a little sad but we all know it's the fun of creating them, not the long term results, that we do it for.
