Friday the 30th, 2011

Friday morning we headed out of Oakland and drove through the city we'd explored the past two days. We drove over the Golden Gate Bridge but it was so covered in fog there was no need for any photos. We couldn't see anything from either vista point so there are no pictures of the event. We drove around the bay and arrived in Vallejo in time for the opening of 6 Flags.

It opened at 11 and it was raining there by 1. We watched the dolphin show and the Shouka show. Quite a few rides were stopped by the rain so we were ready to leave by 2. However, we had a great time with a few walruses who seemed to be playing with the kids.


We stopped for lunch in Vacaville at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries and returned home by 6:30. What a great week.
