Space Center Houston

Neither Rachel nor Jason had to work the day after Christmas and we chose to visit Space Center Houston. We had a great time exploring the museum and checking out the exhibits. We got to see historic mission control and rocket park. Enjoy the photos.

This was cute, they climbed into this simulator and when the movie started...

A perfect place to "stick your head in that hole". =)

Touching a real moon rock. The other hands in the picture belong to some of my kids, not sure which ones.

We splurged and got a souvenir photo taken. We were told it was a requirement for riding the tram over for the tour of historic mission control but the shot came out really good, everyone was pleased with their own photo that we decided to get it. It was, obviously, taken on a green screen but we loved all the backgrounds they put us on.

It was a great time followed by a stop at Barnes and Noble where the kids got to use their gift cards from Gramma and Grampa Ski.
