Bringing in the new year

Rachel worked New Year's Eve from 3:30 to 9:30. We went over to another family's home from 8pm to 1am! Can you believe we managed to stay up that late? We had a good time playing games and eating munchies and talking until way too late. Rachel joined us when her shift was over. I didn't take pictures but we had a good time.
We slept in the next morning. We used the morning, what was left of it, to take the tree down. Then in the afternoon we took a bike ride to a local park. That evening we had a family over and hung out over dinner and games.

January 2nd we took the kids skating. Jason worked in the morning but had the afternoon off. Rachel had a group date in the middle of the day but she met the rest of us at the rink. It was fun to be on skates again.
