Just as we pulled into the parking lot of the movie theater a few snow flurries dropped and the kids were pleased to see some real white stuff. After the movie we let the kids who wanted to, ride the double-decker carousel at the mall where the movie theater is. This carousel has Looff figures just like the one in Spokane.

A blurry Anna.

Waiting.
And of a different note, Rachel auditioned in December for Regional band and made it. She had a practice on January 17th and then all day on the 18th with a performance that night. We usually don't bring all the kids to her concerts but since this is her last regional performance we brought the whole group. With Sarah being almost 6 we figured that they could handle the event. They did very well and gratefully, Rachel's group performed first. After some very well-played music Jason and the kids from Anna on down returned home. Nathan stayed with me to watch the other two groups perform. Our friend, Caleb Hodson, performed in the third and final group, the ones going on to state. Jenny, Kent and Christina showed up for his performance and we enjoyed sitting with them.
No recordings were allowed but see if you can pick Rachel out of the group.
