Only in October

Can you celebrate Jason's birthday, Halloween and football games! (Not necessarily in that order =).) We enjoyed General Conference on the 4th and 5th. I had to work, surprising I know, on the 4th but on the 5th we had the Hodsons over to watch conference with us. Two Calebs asleep on the floor.

October 1st Jaron played for Brookside's home football game.

October 3rd Rae, Nate, Ann and Anna's friend Tori went to a football game for Clear Springs. We were playing against Clear Lake which is where the Hodson's kids attend school so when my kids found their van in the parking lot you can see what happened.

October 6th, the cast comes off! But the splint goes on for two more weeks, despite the begging.

October 7th all the Intermediate Schools in the district got together for a concert and it was held at the district stadium.
It's like a "Where's Waldo?" but look at the left side of the picture about right in the middle from the top to the bottom.

Anna joined Cross Country late in the season and ran a grand total of three races. Here are some pictures taken at two of her races on the 10th and 23rd. Pre-race: Post-race: Mid-race:

Our ward Trunk-or-trunk was on the 24th and we carved pumpkins on the 26th.

We didn't have candles so I didn't get any pictures of them lit up. And pumpkins deteriorate quickly here in Houston so by two days later when I remembered and had a few minutes, they were already moldy and decomposing, bummer!

Jason's birthday was the 28th (as it is every year, oddly enough) and we had cake and birthday dinner.

Then Halloween, round two. I stayed home to study and answered the door for the trick-o-treaters. The kid with the blue bucket is Gabe, our neighbor, and he's Caleb's age and grade. He's often like an extra kid at our house.
