We're on the move

So Sarah is officially on the move! We had to make some modifications to our banister, seeing as it is not built to code. We've wire-tied plexiglass to make it impassible. But she's making a bee-line for the top of the stairs now. I have a gate on order that is pressure mounted but also swings so that the other children won't try to climb it and kill themselves in the process. It should be here next week. She has the funky half bear walk thing going on. She seems to know that her feet are to be used for motating but they're not working for her the way they should. So one knee and one foot it is, for now.

Translation: "Look, crazy lady, I keep moving towards you and you keep moving away. STOP moving away! There's a point to this, and I'm not so good at it yet and you're messing it up!"

Very cute crawl! The top of her right foot will stay somewhat clean!

Great job Sarah. It doesn't seem possible that she is already crawling.
The plexiglass is a great idea. Better than having to re-do the whole railing.

Wire ties are the equivalent of duct tape in our home. Wire ties and velcro loops (the kind made for also holding wires) keep a lot of things connected and/or safe from little fingers in our place.

Love the whiney crawling!

I can't believe she's crawling! Logan's only two months behind her...

Nice idea with the plexiglass!
