Yosemite - Day two

The next day we headed down to the valley floor. We stopped at the view point just after the tunnel to see Half Dome and Yosemite Falls. Rae had the camera for part of the day.

My grandfather has owned his cabin for close to 30 years and has never seen as much water running down the falls and in the river in all that time.

Grandpa and Jaron.

Rae took this picture.

Our family. A kind woman offered to take this one of all of us. What a great view!

Bridalveil Falls. We went there next.

Taking a short hike to the bottom of the falls.

Notice the pathway is covered with a thin layer of water? That layer will get much thicker as we go along.

Rae caring for Sarah so that she could get a good look at the water coming down off the falls.

A view of Yosemite Falls.

Half-Dome.

Giving love as we prepare for a little walk up to the Awahanee Hotel.

A picnic lunch and then more visiting the valley floor. A little rest.
