Ephrata

On Saturday we dropped Rachel off at the church at 9 in the morning to go do some camp certification in preparation for Girl's Camp in August. After she got done with that around 1 she went and spent the day with the Beauchamp family. Their oldest daughter and Rachel are good friends and having 7 kids also, Rae just blended right in. Thanks so much to them for taking good care of her while we were gone.

After dropping Rae we headed to Ephrata. It's just a little over two hours from here. Jason's aunt Jan lives there. She had invited all three of her sisters, their spouses and their children and grandchildren to come visit for the weekend. We only had time for the day trip but we had a great time. It was finally summer hot weather, you know how I am about needing some heat, and the day was spent in the pool. We left in time to pick up Rachel right at 7. We had a good time visiting aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason managed to get in a few pictures while constantly counting heads. Swimming is fun and cooling but requires an attentive eye. (Thanks to Gramma Lindh for the picture of Nathan. Sorry, Nate, that we didn't get an individual of you.)

That looks like so much fun! And it was OUR pleasure having Rachel here. Any time.
