It's been a good week.

Jaron and Darik started swim lessons on Monday. They did them all this week except Friday. They are enjoying them and doing well. They will do them next week also.

Tuesday it was hot so we broke out the slip and slide and also played in the sprinkler.

Wearing Rachel's shorts.

Switching to the sprinkler and trampoline.

Wednesday has no pictures. But Rachel had her first game and they won!

Thursday it was very warm so I took the kids down to Chief Garry park which is located near our old home. They have good play equipment and a new splash pad. Jen Brown and her kids joined us, it was a nice way to spend a beautiful afternoon.

Today we had dental appointments for all 7 kids. They did a great job and we were done in one hour. No cavities, yippee!! After the dentist, we picked up Jason and went to lunch at Zip's. Then I took the kids to see Night at the Museum 2 at the Garland Theater. The oldest 5 really enjoyed it and Sarah and Caleb spent a lot of time in the lobby, with my supervision, of course. It's a little too hectic at the dentist to take pictures.

The most exciting news of the week is that Darik has learned how to ride the two-wheeler by himself! I took him down to the church parking lot Tuesday morning and let him perfect his turning and stopping. He got good enough to now ride in our backyard. We're so happy for him that he has this new skill.

I was going to leave a snide comment on that last post about being in Wenatchee and not even calling, but unfortunately sarcasm doesn't translate very well in written form. You were probably busy with family anyhow! Looks like fun!
