Friday July 25th

Friday the 25th we headed to the beach, again. But this time we went to Tillamook and Oceanside. You can't go to Tillamook and not stop at the Tillamook cheese factory visitors center and see the cheese making process. And no visit is complete without ice cream. We thought the one picture of the kids watching the cheese be packaged up would be great for the AT&T add of "more bars in more places". My sister, Celina, had to work this day so Megan came along with us, that's the other orange-shirted kiddo in the pictures. She and Caleb had a great week together. I thought the shot of them swinging together on the bar was pretty cute.
We made a quick lunch stop at the Fred Meyer deli and then off to the beach! And yes, you read that right, dessert was eaten first. Hey, life's uncertain, and on vacation some rules just don't apply. It was much sunnier that day and the kids actually played in the water and had a great time with their dad. I didn't take as many pictures this day. I did get a picture of how Sarah spends her time at the beach. I also included the tent and umbrellas we set up at the beach when staying for 6 hours. For those who don't know, my mom has had some very bad spots of cancer removed from her face over the last two years. So she tries to stay out of the direct sun as much as possible. My dad has also had a few spots removed but hasn't had to do the chemotherapy and radiation treatments mom has. So we have to keep her pretty well covered. After we got home at 9:15 we set off some fireworks and then collapsed in bed.

The pic of Sara in the tent is so cute! I'm not a big baby oggler (that doesn't sound right, but oh well!) but she's got a pretty cute look about her.

Looks like Rach and Anna did some good digging. Maybe there's a future in child labor you can exploit...

Jealous, still!
