Saturday we went to the Washington County fair in Hillsboro. This is near where we used to live and it was amazing to see how much the place has changed in 6 years. Admission was free and it cost $5 to park so it was a great deal for my van. =) We saw animals and watched a horse show. Then we went to the kids' activities tent. My little guys got to play in the corn and all of them made "dirt babies". You fill nylon sock with dirt, adding grass seed to the top, and decorate the face after tying off the sock in a round shape. You put the tail of the sock in a glass of water and in a couple of days your baby has "hair". The kids had fun and since it was a warm day we went back to the hotel to take advantage of the pool.

The "dirt babies" seem like a great activity idea for my ward playgroup. Looks like a good time and you got a good picture of Grandpa Miller.
Hm... I wonder if we could put a corn pit on our patio... I'm thinking the blue jays would run off with it in a matter of days. Probably a little too messy for inside. How can I make this work for me???
