Sunday morning we met Jason's family at the Oregon zoo. His sister, Jenny, lives in Salem with her husband Ryan and their daughter, Kaylee. Friday was Kaylee's second birthday and they had an outing to the zoo with any family that could make it to join them. So join them we did, but only for a little while because we had to get on the road. We left the zoo at noon and didn't make it home until 8:20. It was a long trip, as usual, but the week was so much fun it was worth it. Getting to see so much family and visit the ocean, it was a wonderful vacation.

The pictures are wonderful. It sure looks like you had a great vacation.
I like this idea of putting pictures and stories of the family on line. Keeps us all posted on what you are up to.
Love, Mom L.
Awesome photos!!! What a great vacation! It was good to have you back in Primary today though :) You have been missed :)
Oh, I miss the Portland zoo. The local zoo in Boston isn't half as good (of course it is probably about four times as old).
Jealous, jealous, jealous... At least I look good in green!
I love your blog Lanae! It's so good to see everyone, and your writing is amazing. Though awful and obviously upsetting to the whole family, your story about the evacuation was fantastic. You really took me there, it was great!
Love ya,
Evie
