Trip to Portland, day 2

Tuesday morning the 17th we got up and worked on several things. We worked on laundry, we packed us for a week's trip and we left the house ready to show on Saturday's open house. By the time we all loaded into the van at noon with our bags packed and our home absolutely sparkling we were ready to roll. We made it to Portland by 8:30.

This was the first trip we've taken since Sarah was potty-trained in late June. She knows the power of the words "pee-pee coming". We had no accidents but quite a few stops along the way.

Wednesday was a day of more "work" - shopping for school clothes and shoes. My mom was so helpful and did a great job finding great deals for the kids. By late afternoon they were rewarded with a trip to the pool in my parent's neighborhood association.
