Sarah LOVES to be in a swimsuit. Swimsuits should be allowed from the time you wake up to the time you wake up. No, that was not done wrong, she would be in them ALL the time, if allowed. Sometimes we can coax her to wear real clothes and she's fairly agreeable. Sunday morning, she was NOT! She threw a total fit about being in a dress for church. There was no compromise, swimsuit or bust. And bust she almost did. She threw herself in our suitcase and proceeded to scream violently about being in a dress.
We finally got her calmed down - with candy as a bribe and made it to church in... a dress and panties. No shoes, no socks, no barrettes, just the dress and underwear. Barefooted baby was happy but man does she have a temper. We took a picture but spared you the ear-bleeding screaming that accompanied the fit.
When we pulled out the camera this is what she did.
Now on to pictures from the park.
We got home Monday evening in time to attend a meeting for band students and parents. Rachel started band camp this week and has been at the school Tuesday - Friday from 8 to 4. She does it again all this week with her first performance being Friday night at the first, home, football game. It's a lot of work but she's really enjoying herself. Pictures of that later.

Oh sweet Sarah. I thought of her today at the pool. There was a little girl about her age that was wearing a swimsuit that could have passed for a church dress. Seeing it then reading your post made my thoughts at the pool all the more funny.
Rae - Kurt and I met during marching band when I was 16. Needless to say the long hours of practice were worth it in more ways than 1! Have fun!
Oh Lanae. Don't you just love a strong willed 2 year old. Ainsley is quite opinionated on what she wears as well. We have some loud discussions on occasion, though she would prefer her Easter dress every day. Thinking of you guys and hoping you get some news soon.
