Anna's 9th birthday

Anna's birthday was the 12th. But we celebrated it on Monday because she has gymnastics on Tuesday and Nathan has scouts. Her cake was a cheesecake, her absolute favorite, from Costco. There isn't a lot of room on a cake like that to write on so I did my best. She got an artist's portfolio from us. It has tons of patterns to trace and color to make all sorts of fashion designs. It comes with pencils, eraser, colored pencils, paper, and patterns. Being the little artist that she is she loved it.
I took her to lunch at McD's on the 12th and she got to bring treats back to her class to share, mint Oreo's, again her choice. And she had a nice treat at gymnastics, she landed her vault perfectly three times in a row! She did a great job and her classmates applauded her. She was the only one to land it. She really enjoys doing that.
Anna, we're so glad you're a part of our family. You are growing up beautifully and we're so happy for all that you've learned and accomplished in your 9 years on this earth. We love you!
