Jr. Lilac Parade
Rachel marched with Horizon Middle School band in the Jr. Lilac Parade today. We all went down to watch her. Gramma Lindh was in town taking care of Brandt, Holden, Wyatt and Ainsley and they met us on the parade route just as it was starting. We got there early to make sure we got a good seat. Before the parade started Jason took the kids over to the play area at the park to kill some time. Her band did a great job! They looked and sounded wonderful.

You'd think someone would determine that black polyester is not the best choice of material for marching band uniforms. I can only imagine what marching in those in June is like!
Looks like everyone had a good time! Rachel sure is involved in a lot of activities!
What a fun family day! Love the kids with their shades :)
