So the rest of the story for our weekend goes like this. Ponderosa Elementary was having a basketball game as a fund raiser for a local charity. The staff and teachers split into two teams and play against each other. Anna and Jaron REALLY wanted to go to this. Thursday night Jaron was complaining of an ear aching. So we waited until Friday morning to see if it was still bothering him. No complaints that morning, no call from school and he played from 3:45 to 5:15 without a word out of him. At 5:15 he came inside saying his ear and head hurt. His temp was 101.5 so we decided to take him into Urgent Care.
As we were trying to find a babysitter to watch Sarah and Caleb while one of us took Anna, Nathan, and Darik to the game and the other took Jaron to UC Anna asked if she could have some ibuprofen like Jaron. Her head and throat hurt. And while she had no fever we decided that a basketball game was no place for her that night. Rachel was obligated to play with the Jazz Band at Chester Elementary's fun night. So Jaron and I dropped her off at 6 and headed down to UC which was, miraculously, not busy. Turns out he had a double ear infection. We went back to Chester by 7 to pick up Rachel who was done and took her home to babysit while Jason and I went back to get Jaron's meds, which took much longer than the UC visit to fill.
That was Friday. Saturday was the normal morning piano routine, Anna was feeling better, and with the beautiful weather we had we decided to work out in the front flower bed. We dug up half the junipers we planted last summer and returned them to Home Depot because they did not live. We replaced them with new junipers.
Our kitchen faucet has been dripping the last two weeks and Jason had some time to look at it and it could not be fixed, so we replaced that. Anna's birthday activity, in place of a casual friends over for a barbecue party, was to go to the movies alone with her dad. They went to see Monsters vs. Aliens and had a great time. Jason also put up one more shelf in the laundry room for me so now shelving goes all the way around the room like a U instead of an L.
All in all a busy and productive Saturday. Jaron is feeling much better and Anna never got worse and we're all doing well - Yeah!

Yay for being well again! And the trees and sink look wonderful too!
Busy is right! I'm impressed that you were able to make home improvements in the midst of everything else. Glad everyone is feeling better, too. -Alisse
